I was born in Poland to a Polish mother and Welsh father and christened Katarzyna. It’s a beautiful name, and I am forever grateful that my parents decided to choose a name which reflected my Polish ancestry. “Kasha” is the shortened version, which people sometimes find easier to pronounce, and is what I am more commonly known by.

My whole life I have enjoyed getting to know people. I have been told by others that I have a natural ability to make them feel at ease, and a sense of humour that helps to relax people and get them smiling. It is important for me to get a sense of who people are, and what they love and cherish in life. This then becomes the foundation to build a trusting relationship with individuals and their friends, family and whanau. A nurse by profession, for over thirty years, I am at my best when I work closely with people, helping them through periods of transition in life.

Compassion, kindness and a sense of humour helps people in any stressful situation -be it sadness when preparing a service for someone who has passed away, or the internal joy and excitement when planning a wedding with your soul mate. I am firm believer in bringing the best version of yourself to all relationships, be it personal or professional. Positivity is infectious and so is kindness, and this is how I live my life.

My aim is to ensure that any ceremony service I perform is personalised to those involved.

If you feel I may be someone that you can trust to be a part of your life event, I look forward to being of service to you.
